Day ticket steps
- Go to 11 Kuojiatou Lane (阔家头巷), off Shiquan Street in the old town — taxi or short walk from Pingjiang Road.
- Buy a day ticket at the gate with your passport. Peak season is usually CNY 40 (Apr, May, Jul–Oct); other months CNY 30.
- Arrive early — the garden is small and tour groups fill it by mid-morning.
- Optional: if you prefer card payment ahead of time, use the Trip.com day attraction link above (Alliance from this site). Treat it as a fallback, not a requirement.
- Do not assume Night Garden rules apply to the day visit — they are separate products.
Night Garden honesty
The Night Garden is sold online only through the 苏州园林旅游 WeChat account (timed entry, about CNY 120). Kunqu / pingtan performances run inside the halls on Night Garden evenings. Mid-March to mid-November is the usual season; exact times vary (often ~18:25 start).
For foreigners: WeChat + Chinese mobile number friction is real. We have not verified a Trip.com Night Garden passport checkout that replaces WeChat. If Night Garden is your goal, message WhatsApp or LINE before you go — do not invent a workaround or buy from random “agents.”

- Day price: CNY 40 in April, May, July–October; CNY 30 in January–March, June, November–December (Suzhou garden admin / municipal listings).
- Night Garden: about CNY 120, online-only timed — confirm on the official night notice.
- Day hours: peak season about 07:30–17:30; off-season about 07:30–17:00. Night Garden examples on our attraction page: 18:25–21:40 Sun–Thu; 18:25–22:20 Fri–Sat and holidays (re-check before travel).

Why this garden differs
Suzhou’s 2024 garden policy cancelled real-name ticketing for most classical gardens. Exceptions that still keep real-name timed entry: Humble Administrator’s Garden (拙政园), Lingering Garden (留园), and Lion Grove (狮子林). Master of the Nets does not keep that rule for day tickets — buy at the gate. Do not copy-paste Humble/Lingering/Lion Grove advice onto this garden.

Fitting it into a Suzhou day
- Use Master of the Nets as a walk-up classical garden when your timed slots at Humble / Lingering / Lion Grove are already booked.
- Pair carefully: Humble foreigners guide · Lingering foreigners guide · Lion Grove foreigners guide — those three still need real-name timed tickets.
- Pingjiang Road is nearby; allow 1–1.5 hours inside (longer for Night Garden if you manage WeChat).
