How to reserve
- Open WeChat → search / follow 莫高窟参观预约网 (official service account).
- Open 预约购票 → choose Ticket Booking (入境游客 / foreign-passport path in the 2026 notice).
- Pick date, session, and product (regular vs emergency visit). Enter passport details exactly as printed.
- Pay on the official flow only. Keep the confirmation; do not buy from Xianyu / Meituan “agents” / random shops.
- On the day: go to the Digital Exhibition Center (阳关东路8899号) ≥30 minutes early. Regular / preferential tickets usually need a paper “购票信息单” from the counter or kiosk, then ID check. Follow staff for your ticket type — some emergency tickets use different gates.
