Official WeChat path (face value)
- In WeChat search 三星堆博物馆 → Services → Admission ticket reservation.
- Pick a date (popular days sell out). One 2026 guide cites 20:00 Beijing time, 5 days ahead — confirm inside the app.
- ID type = Passport (护照); enter name/number exactly.
- If SMS requires a +86 number, ask the hotel to receive the code, or use a China-capable SIM — see SMS for attraction booking.
- Bring the same passport. Admission ends ~18:00; museum is in Guanghan.
Trip.com fallback
English package pages exist, but read the title: many are admission + tea/refreshment, not bare entry. Cancellation fees on the package we saw started at 60%. Prefer WeChat face value when you can clear SMS.

FAQ
Does Trip.com sell plain admission?
Live 6 Oct 2026: plain admission via Official WeChat only. Trip.com sold an admission + refreshment package (~USD 35.49 that day) with steep cancel fees.
Do I need a Chinese phone?
Often yes for the WeChat SMS code. Workarounds: hotel desk receives the code, or buy a temporary China SIM/eSIM that can receive SMS — see our SMS booking guide.
Where is the museum?
Guanghan, about an hour from Chengdu — not downtown. Shuttle products may exclude admission.
