Why booking matters
This is a sensitive history museum in Pingfang, Harbin. Capacity is managed with timed free tickets, not walk-up for most visitors.
Foreign visitors still go through the same WeChat / Harbin mini-program path described on our page — there is no separate English official booking site listed there.
How to reserve
- Reserve 1–7 days ahead on the museum WeChat account (menu “贴心服务 — 参观预约”) or 畅游哈尔滨.
- Metro Line 1 to Xinjiang Dajie, Exit 2, then about 300 m east (23 Xinjiang Street, Pingfang District).
- Bring the same passport/ID used in the booking; allow time for both the new hall and the original headquarters site (different last-entry times).
Pitfalls
- Showing up without a reservation on a busy day.
- Monday closures (except public holidays).
- Missing last-entry differences between the new hall and the headquarters site.
