Do Foreigners Need to Reserve Yellow Crane Tower?

For most visiting days you do not need an advance reservation. Wuhan’s scenic easing from 11 July 2024 dropped real-name reservation for Yellow Crane Tower: buy at the on-site window, or online with one person’s details covering a group. The English path we walked on 19 Oct 2026 is Trip.com — Passport sits in the ID dropdown (default on the form we opened). Adult daytime shelf was about US$10.47 for a 21 Oct product; local listings put daytime around CNY 70. Day and night tickets are not interchangeable.

Why Trip.com + window

Search still mixes old “must reserve” posts with the Jul 2024 Wuhan easing — foreigners need a clear passport answer.

Trip.com is the English channel we actually opened to a passport form; WeChat was not verified.

Window buy remains first-class under the no-reservation rule — useful when you land without Wi-Fi.

How to buy

  1. Open Trip.com → Yellow Crane Tower (Wuhan) and pick an adult daytime (or night) product for your date.
  2. Set ID type to Passport; name and number exact. Pay and keep the QR. (We stopped before payment.)
  3. Or skip online: go to the park ticket window with your passport and buy on the day.
  4. Enter in the published window (about 08:30–17:20). Do not mix day and night tickets.
  5. If WeChat 「黄鹤楼公园」 is offered by a friend — treat passport support as Check until you confirm the form yourself.
