This is an independent travel guide. We collect as little as we can, and never sell data.
Visit statistics
To see which guides help people, we count visits in two cookie-free ways:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first service that does not use cookies or collect visitors’ personal data (about Cloudflare Web Analytics).
- Our own counter. We store the page you open, the website or campaign tag (
utm_…) that sent you, your country (derived from your IP address, which we do not store), device and browser type, how long the page was visible, how far you scrolled, and clicks to booking sites. A random session ID lives in your browser’s session storage and disappears when you close the tab. To count unique visitors we keep a one-way hash of your IP address and browser that changes every day, so it cannot be used to follow you over time.
Automated browsers and known bots are not counted.
Ticket-release reminders
If you ask for a reminder we store your email address, the attraction, your visit date, party size, time zone, country and the date of the request, plus a one-way, salted hash of your IP address (never the address itself), which we use only to spot spam and abuse. We use the request only to remind you about that visit. We do not send newsletters or share the address. Requests, including that hash, are deleted automatically about 30 days after the visit date.
Calendar reminders
“Add to Calendar” creates a calendar file for the date you pick; we don’t store the date or anything else from it. We only count that a calendar reminder was added (attraction, calendar type, days ahead) as part of the visit statistics above. If you choose Google Calendar, the event details travel to Google in the link and Google’s privacy policy applies.

Feedback
When you answer “Did this booking path work for you?” we store your answer, any note you choose to write, the page, your country and device type, plus the same kind of one-way IP hash, used only to spot spam and abuse.
Abuse protection
To stop spam, form submissions are counted against a hashed form of your IP address; these counters expire after about an hour. The IP hashes saved with reminder requests and feedback (described above) stay with that record. We never store your IP address itself.
The “Message on WhatsApp” buttons go through a short link on this site (/api/wa) and then open WhatsApp. We count that click like the other visit statistics above (page, button position, country, device type) — we do not learn your phone number from the click. If you then send a message, WhatsApp (Meta) carries it under WhatsApp’s privacy policy, and I see your WhatsApp name, number and what you send. I use that only to reply to you, and never add you to lists or groups.
Who processes data for this site
- Cloudflare hosts and serves the site and stores the visit statistics, reminder requests and feedback described above (Cloudflare Workers, KV and D1). Like any web host, it processes your IP address to deliver pages and block attacks. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Resend delivers the reminder emails (confirmation, reminder) and receives the email address and the email content to do so. See Resend’s privacy policy.
- Travelpayouts, an affiliate network: a third-party script from Travelpayouts runs on the site pages and may turn some outbound travel links (for example to Trip.com, Klook, GetYourGuide or Viator) into affiliate links. Like any script loaded from another server, it receives your IP address, browser details and the page address, and it may use cookies or similar storage to attribute bookings. See Travelpayouts’ privacy policy.
- WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to message us; see above.
Links to booking sites
Booking sites you visit from this guide have their own privacy policies. Some links to booking sites may be affiliate links; see our affiliate disclosure.
