Step-by-step booking guide

    Book a timed ticket

    On Trip.com, open Lingering Garden (Liuyuan), choose your date and time slot, and enter your passport name and number.

    Get to 338 Liuyuan Road

    The garden is west of the old town — a short taxi ride from Pingjiang Road or Humble Administrator's Garden.

    Enter with your passport

    Your passport is checked against the booking at the gate. No booking? Try the window on weekdays.

    Allow 1.5–2 hours

    Follow the corridors clockwise through the central pond, the eastern halls and the Cloud-Capped Peak rockery.

Key pitfalls

  • Lingering Garden is about 2 km west of the old-town core (Humble Administrator's Garden area) — budget a taxi or bus between them.
  • It is a separate ticket from Humble Administrator's Garden and Tiger Hill.
  • Mornings right after opening are calmest; tour groups arrive mid-morning.
