Temple of Heaven tickets for foreigners

No reservation required if the park isn’t full. Visit Beijing’s path: scan the entrance QR or ask at a comprehensive service counter with your passport. Get the combo ticket if you want the Hall of Prayer.

Walk-up steps

  1. Bring your original passport.
  2. At the gate: scan the entrance QR or ask a comprehensive service counter to sell you a ticket while capacity remains.
  3. Choose admission (passport ~CNY 20) or the combo (~CNY 34 high season) for Hall of Prayer / Echo Wall / Circular Mound.
  4. Park grounds roughly 06:00–22:00 (last entry 21:00). Paid inner sights typically 08:00–18:00 Tue–Sun.

When WeChat helps

Optional booking 1–7 days ahead on WeChat Official Account Temple of Heaven. There is no useful English web checkout — without WeChat, the gate path is the foreigner default.

Visit Beijing: Temple of Heaven ticketing. Parks FAQ on foreign visitors without WeChat / unauthorized OTAs. Live FLOW capture 6 Oct 2026.

Pitfalls: Admission-only then missing the Hall of Prayer; Monday inner-sight closures; trusting unauthorized OTAs; confusing this with Forbidden City’s 20:00 reservation system.
